April Clark, Board Member, is from Philadelphia, PA and she is currently working as a Kindergarten ELA Teacher at a public charter school in NE Washington, D.C.
April is an avid mental health advocate. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Spelman College in 2016.
April is currently pursuing a Master of Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Howard University.

Rhonda Mitchell, Board Member, was born in Paterson, New Jersey. She was always inquisitive about how things worked, and loved the challenge of putting things together. With her fascination for how things work, Rhonda enrolled in Rowan College of Glassboro, New Jersey, and chose Biology as her major.
Rhonda considers herself a servant. From the time she started her career, her employment has been a position of service to others. Her earlier career consisted of working with individuals in retail, a nursing home, and a manager for a communications business. Her current position is also one of providing service to others. Dr. Daneka Lucas, Pharm.D., Board Secretary, originally from Houston, Texas, received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Hampton University. Upon graduation, she completed a one year Pharmacy Practice Residency at Howard University Hospital, where she conducted research on optimization of medication therapy in HIV patients.
She currently practices pharmacy at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Pediatric Pharmacy where she works with the adult but mainly the pediatric/neonatal population for over fifteen years. Marcellus Mitchell, Co-Founder, was born in Henderson, North Carolina, and reared in New Jersey. He received his early education at the world renowned Newark Boys Chorus School (NBCS) in Newark, New Jersey. Singing with the members of this school, Marcellus performed in many states in America and abroad, including Carnegie Hall in New York, China, and Japan.
A couple of years before Marcellus graduated from the (NBCS), he was selected to pursue a professional R&B musical career, along with four other boys who were previously from the (NBCS). Lucille Hilliard, P.D., D.Min., M.Div., M.A., B.A., Co-Founder & Executive Director, was born in Henderson, North Carolina. After graduating from Vance County High School, she moved to New Jersey where she started a career in the insurance industry. Lucille enjoyed working in the insurance industry, but knew she could do more than just talk to people by telephone, process premiums for car insurance, push paper and stuff envelopes all day.
Realizing her passion for school (learning) since childhood, and her love for people, Lucille knew one day she would return to school to pursue a higher education. Additionally, she also knew it was time for her to search for a position where she could devote her time and energy working directly with people, which was what she enjoyed most. Prince Hunter, Ed. D., Board Member, supported by more than 30 years of experience in teaching, Dr. Hunter currently serves as a STEM consultant for Morgan State University, a position he acquired in 2015. He is recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in STEM education. Concurrent to this role, Dr. Hunter has also been a substitute teacher for the District of Columbia Public Schools since 2019, and has further served Morgan State University as a program evaluator for the Baltimore MUREP Aerospace Academy since 2013. Earlier in his career, Dr. Hunter was a team leader and mathematics teacher for the District of Columbia Public Schools from 1988 to 2012.
